| Introduction | I am a licensed acupuncturist/ Chinese herbalist. I have a Master of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, a four year program covering Chinese medical theory, acupuncture, herbs, many science classes, and 3 years of internships. After graduating, we must pass the national board exams to get certified by the NCCAOM. To get licensed, acupuncturists submit our certification, diploma, and proof of insurance to the state's medical board. I work in a group practice, where every day is an adventure. I love my job! |
