Introduction	I am a Special Education teacher at a secure juvenile detention center. Yes, you read it correctly: I teach in jail. Along with training for my third half-marathon, food and complimentary wine pairings get me through the day-to-day and keep me sane (relatively speaking). In that I so thoroughly enjoy reading food blogs, I had been contemplating starting my own, really just as a simple chronicle of my weekly meals – perhaps shedding some limitless light for other gluten impaired on what they can do in their own, albeit small kitchens. I have an insatiable appetite for exploring and writing about the dining opportunities and meal inspiration of this city and my little piece of it. Sure, we have to eat to live, but not everyone lives to eat…
