In 1986, he was promoted into the Marketing organization. Buddy pioneered notable programs including; Practical Sales Training & How to Build a Winning Sales Team. Buddy completed his Master’s in 1997 from Georgia State University’s Executive MBA program. He then joined IBM as a Global Solutions Executive. He worked internationally in the emerging mobile information industry with such giants as Nokia, Ericssen and Lucent Technologies. He traveled extensively in Australia, Finland, Great Britain, Scandanavia, Germany, France, Iceland and the Phillipines. In late 1999, Buddy was recruited back to BellSouth Advertising & Publishing as Director of Marketing. Buddy drove investment strategy, new product development, competitive strategy, planning & innovative solutions for the growing spanish language market. In 2007, Buddy was again promoted to Executive Director of Marketing and served in that position until his retirement in 2008. He is married with two children and lives in the Brookhaven area of Atlanta. |
