Introduction	Sherry Smith is a Senior Account Manager with C&LC. Sherry was the director of conferences for a state association for ten years before becoming executive director of a national organization representing the maritime industry. Successful at growing meetings and trade shows under her direct supervision, Sherry believes in producing technically superior meetings through excellent logistical management and attention to detail, and in creating excitement by offering attendees useful new services each year. Sherry is proficient in logistics, creating budgets and developing educational and marketing program content. Active in state and national professional societies, Sherry has been president and treasurer of the Maryland Society of Association Executives and president of the Chesapeake Chapter of Professional Convention Management Association and has served as a faculty advisor for Meeting Planning at Goucher College.
