| Introduction | Charlotta Greenin, the founder of The Butik, now lives and works in the UK but being half Danish, she still spends most of her summers and Christmases at the family home in Denmark. She gained her degree in fashion design and business and went on to work as a fashion buyer, specializing in children's wear. She noticed a gap in the market for children's clothing and accessories that were not only well designed and made, but also different, stylish and fun. Danish design and innovation has always been a huge influence on her life, and she is passionate about the fashions and trends that originate from one of the most stylish countries in the world. |

You may have heard that "The Danes hate to see it leave", well that's not always the case. As well as established Danish labels, we've discovered some wonderful designs that up until now were unknown outside Denmark, and luckily, thery are delighted for us to share their secrets with you.
