Introduction | Hey! I am a professional artist & fashion designer living in a small town in Alabama. I have been in business for over twenty five years. I have one daughter, also an artist, who is the light of my life! I began my business straight out of college, (Fashion Design major) with a handknit sweater business. I created the original handpainted sweater featuring my own original artwork. I sold these through upscale boutiques for over a decade. When my daughter was born, I wanted to be home with her, so I began putting my art on a variety of surfaces including canvases, pillows, floorcloths, anything! I have just begun selling on the web. I hope to broaden my custom business here. Meanwhile, I am selling through our local store I run with my mom, also an artist, here in Guntersville. Our funky eclectic shop is based in a 100 year old Victorian house, called "The House". I also teach a girls class, "Diva Do's" where I teach fun art & craft techniques to girls from kindergarten to 6th grade! They call me "Queen La Diva"! My trademark motto is.."You Can't Be Serious!" |
