| Introduction | Being quite used to self-promotion as a DIY artist (singer/songwriter) it isn't hard to find info about me on a google search. What you may not know from the various web pages is that I am a wife and a mother of two gorgeous boys. Once a registered nurse I have also spent time teaching singing. Although there were many aspects in those work scenarios that suited me, it was nevertheless a little bit like “doing time”. Although I no longer regret or resent the twenty years of waiting and working. "Anything that enriches or enlarges you as a person will enrich and enlarge you as an artist. Armed with a little more maturity, a lot more sense of my identity, I seems to be finding my voice. |

| Favorite books | Recent ones: The Messenger by Marcus Zusack is BRILLIANT. I love biographies. I'm also reading an informative and amusing book called "Subtleties of Scienctific Style" by Matthew Stevens. I love his sense of humour. It's actually a resource for research writers and editors. I'm definitely a fantasy chic too. I love Tolkien (all of it...even the Silmarilian), C.S. Lewis (Narnia and also the Space Trilogy amongst others), plus Margaret Mahy's "Madigan's Fantasia". She's a really great children's literature author. Love "Snugglepot and Cuddlepie", "Winnie the Pooh", all Dr Zeus books and lots of Enid Blyton like "The Magic Faraway Tree", "The Wishing Chair" and the "Famous Five" series. It all appealed to my imagination and sense of adventure. More 'serious' stuff would be "The Artist's Way" by Julia Cameron - a must for all artists/writers/creatives and would-be's and wannabe's!!! Also, "the Grace Walk" by Steve McVey - for everyone who is, was or wants to have anything to do with church, Christians or anything religious - along with "The Shack". |
Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
No, forks did not evolve from spoons. But any fool can see that with such similar features they must have a common ancestor.
