| Introduction | I am an artist and art therapist living in Baltimore. I love being outside in the winter and creating designs with paper and fabric. My designs reflect family and life situations that are both pleasant and unpleasant. I also enjoy to volunteer in my community. Volunteering builds grass roots support for family and neighborhoods from behind the scenes.I train and show performance dogs when school is not busy and animals are a big part of my life. My dog Floyd is a Portuguese Water dog, he will be 11 in January and retired from showing when I began school. Not being happy about this he has decided to make my life interesting and there fore I may post about him and his antics. I may begin a website as a companion to the blog because it will be a better place to present art work. I work at a large teaching hospital in the area where I work with children and adolescents who have acute mental health issues. I am currently a third year doctoral student (very soon to be candidate) in the Graduate Expressive Therapies Department at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. |
