| Introduction | Welcome to Hairy Wizardz Translations, formerly Harry D Jr's Blog. Here, you can find my fan translations of mainly fantasy-genre Japanese works in English. I started this as a learning aid to teach myself Japanese. I found bilingual manga to be my favorite form of consuming the language, which is how I found myself translating works more on a regular basis. Currently really into "Takarakuji de 40-oku Atattandakedo Isekai ni Ijuu Suru" or "I Won 4 Billion in a Lottery But I Went to Another World". I have two goals: become fluent in the language (someday), and spread the popularity of my favorite Japanese-only works in the West so they can get licensed (and I can finally buy a physical version for myself). P.S. I don't do this for profit, only as a hobby. So if anything I work on gets licensed/officially released in North America, then I'll gladly take down any links. I've always been a supporter of original content creators/authors/artists, and would like to give them the same courtesy I'd expect in return. The donate button is only so I can continue buying more manga to translate...and coffee. |
