Introduction | God has blessed me with a supportive husband, three wonderful grown daughters and two sons-in-law, In earlier years, I homeschooled as well as working for the public library system and for a pediatric office. I have lived with chronic pain and illness for most of my married life, including back pain, headaches, fibromylagia, depression, and thyroid cancer. For seven years, I was a devotional writer for Rest Ministries, a Christian organization for those who suffer with chronic pain and illness. You can read my writings at A Place of Springs blog. My journey with pain has been long and hard, but God has used it to conform me more into His image, and I can honestly say I am thankful for all I have been through. I began making cards some years ago with a friend. Although we were both limited by chronic health issues, we wanted to bless and encourage others in some way, so we began a card ministry at our church. Since retiring to western North Carolina with my husband, I have continued to make cards as a ministry and for friends and family. I hope that you will find encouragement here, and I pray for God's comfort, strength, and hope to each of you. |
