| Introduction | Let me start by explaining why I chose this name for my blog. When I was growing up, during times of trials and tribulations, my Mom use to say to me “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade!” She would hold me, rock me, kiss me and dry my tears, affirm me with her love and the love of God and then show me how to make lemonade out of every situation (life' lemons). My Mom was an incredible Godly, loving, kind, compassionate, wise beyond understanding, strong, sensitive woman who was my best friend, confidant and spiritual leader to me. She gave me many gifts during our short time together on this earth and one of those gifts was learning to make lemonade and making it daily! She said that our life was our gift from God and what we do with our life is our gift to Him. So, with that said, I try to live my life as God would have me, according to his perfect will, plan and purpose and when I flounder, get discouraged, fail or succeed, I will continue to make lemonade and live my lemons 2 lemonade life! |
