| Favorite Books | My favorite Children's Book: Because of Lozo Brown By: Larry L. King and Amy Schwartz This book is about a boy who is frightened to meet a new neighbor (named Lozo Brown) based on what other have said about him. Upon meeting Lozo, the boy realizes that the rumors aren't true, and they become friends. This is one of my favorite books because it teaches children that you can't judge someone based on how they look or on what others have said. One should get to know a person before forming an opinion. |
