| Introduction | I am the oldest of six children, born in Arizona, and homeschooled all of my education prior to college. I now attend Moody Bible Institute in downtown Chicago where I'm preparing for life in general. I'm not sure what the future holds, but I am confident that Jesus will take me along as I'm ready. I've come on quite a journey deciding what I want to do with my life. I used to think that to be a good Christian I need to be a missionary and that nothing short of that would fulfill my desire to serve the Lord. Maybe I've grown up a little since then because now I realize that while I might aspire to being a 'great' Christian minister, I am a hopelessly weak and broken vessel. For God to use me at all is an amazement. As time passes and I listen more to Him I'm sure He'll drop in my lap whatever little tasks He wants me to serve Him with; for now my focus is knowing Him more. A passion of mine has always been writing, and I think that is something I will always do. So hopefully that is something that will develop over time into something that God can use as well. For now I'm finishing Moody classes online and working full time as a nanny in Chicago. |
| Interests | I'm interested in what my Savior is doing in me, where He's taking me, and what He wants me to do on the way there. Presently that involves evangelism, ministry training, and building relationships for future ministry. |
| Favorite movies | Bella Vita ("Life is Beautiful), Raising Baby, Disney's Robin Hood, Inspector General, The Secret Life of Walter Smitty, Random Harvest, and Chef Clown. |
| Favorite music | All classical works by Edvard Greig and many by J.S. Bach, Chopin, and Sibellius. All contemporary songs by Stephen Curtis Chapman and many by John G. Elliott, Chris Tomlin, and David Crowder. |
| Favorite books | Took many to count. I love all of C.S. Lewis' books and many by Charles Dickens, Louisa May Alcott, and Elizabeth Alder. I have started collecting my own library and have over 300 books stashed away at home. |
