Introduction	I started trying to get pregnant with my ex husband when I was 19 (2002). We tried for over 3 years with no luck. After we got divorced I was diagnosed with endometriosis. I married Ryan in 2010 and we started trying to conceive 6 months later. After 1 year we saw an OB/GYN who thought Clomid and IUIs were the answer. We worked with him for almost a year, without success. Every month my period was a huge disappointment. In 2013 we started seeing an RE who told us we had 1-2% chance of getting pregnant on our own. Our best chance was IVF, so that's what we did. IVF is expensive and very physically and emotionally trying. Our first failed cycle was a huge devastation. We've spent thousands of dollars, I've taken more hormones than I can name, given myself more shots than I can count and in the 13 years since I started trying the first time, I've only had 1 positive pregnancy test: in August 2014 when we found out our 3rd IVF attempt was a success! Our miracle son is scheduled to arrive in April 2015. Infertility is a hard struggle that so few understand. I hope by sharing our journey I can raise awareness and maybe even help others sharing in this struggle to stay hopeful.
