Introduction	Deacon Michael Carrell was ordained in 1978. For 27 years he was in full-time ministry as the director of religious formation of youth in a parish of 6000 families in a north Dallas suburb. Now retired, he continues to catechize children and adults with the Christian Scriptures. His passion for understanding the Scriptures led to his discovery that all the writers of the New Testament wrote in the same literary form: "The Literary Form of the Parable." Anne, his younger daughter is Mike's assistant, and his partner in this blog.
