IntroductionI lived in Eastern KY until 1985 & then moved to Central KY the fall of 1985 for school. I graduated from an affiliated technical college on U of K campus (yes, I bleed blue!) with a degree in college of Applied Science of Dental Hygiene, worked 23+ yrs in Dentistry before being forced to retire due to my chronic illnesses. I have the great support of a wonderful Husband, my loving family, & a few friends that blurr into family. I'm blessed to have acquired some natural talent in creativity, as it very therapeutic. Having multiple Chronic Illnesses is "like a box of chocolates", to quote Forest Gump. From day to day, you never know what's going to be your challenge; hopefully a day filled with some energy, something that's a true gift for the chronically ill. What originally began as a chronic illness blog, turned into something inspiring and that's been a passion of mine proud to becoming ill. This blog is about the beautiful SRA, mostly OOAK, artisan beads I've bought worldwide and the jewelry I can design from these gorgeous beads. I hour you see something you like!! M ~ Monica
Interestsfamily, designing jewelry & wireworking, Pinterest addict, reading my Kindle, raising awareness for my chronic : Chronic Migraine Disease, Chronic Pancreatitis, Adrenal Insufficiency, Gastroparesis, Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism, Fibro, EoE ... I'm an autoimmune mess. My body loves itself to death, esp in the case with Adrenal Insuffiency. Leave it to me to get dx'd with a rare disease where I need to take daily steroids (oral Hydrocortisone) to stay alive. JOY!!! But, I keep moving my feet, even if it's backwards some days. Living with Chronic Illness is like dancing a Cha-Cha. Being Creative is very Therapeutic! I'm very thankful for the ability to create. I've always done so since a child ... a big box of crayons was my rainbow everyday. :+)
