Introduction	Quiet, fickle, and a picky eater. Adopted a wonderful and beautiful Akita in Oct of 2006. I don't always play well with others, although I do better than my Big Girl does. I spend a lot of my free time giving back to Midwest Akita Rescue Society (the group that got me my girl).
Interests	Akitas. Chicago Bulls. Ween. Baseball. Vodka and lemonade. Neil Young. Jackie Kennedy. Wearing short skirts with tall boots. Feral kitties. Jeep Wranglers. Boys with motorcycles. Maybe one day I'll learn how to play my guitar.
Favorite movies	Don't laugh...The Outsiders, Beautiful Girls, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill 1 and 2, and Chasing Amy.
Favorite music	Ween, Neil Young, Drive By Truckers, The Rolling Stones, Moistboyz, Willie Nelson, Grateful Dead, Patsy Cline, Led Zeppelin, Tom Petty, Leonard Cohen, Split Lip Rayfield, Chris Harford, Van Morrison, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Jethro Tull, Buckethead, Blondie.
Favorite books	I finished The Other End of the Leash by Patricia McConnell, and am starting in on For the Love of the Dog. I keep meaning to buy Dog Man: An Uncommon Life on a Faraway Mountain...it's on my Amazon wish list. And of course, Akita: Treasure of Japan. I also tend of like the Neil Young biographies, and Elizabeth Wurtzel.
