| Introduction | Biography: Tawseef Qadir Teli (Urdu: توصیف قادر تیلی ; Born 07 March1989) is a Civil Engineer by profession. He is also a prolific teacher, lecturer and auther on the subject of Islam and comparative religion. He is the founder and supervisor of the Islamic website “Know About Al-Islaam From Its Authentic Sources". He has written and compiled many books and booklets on Islam and comparative religion. He specialised in the fields of Aqeedah (Theology) and Fiqh. He is regarded as an exponent of the Salafi/Ahl-ul-Hadith ideology and criticizes blind following. He was raised in and currently lives in Kashmir (Indian Occupied). In 2013 he started working in the field of Dawah, and founded the islamic website for Dawah purposes for both Muslims as well as Non-Muslims. Tawseef says he was inspired by Shaykh Muhammad Saalih Al-Munajjid, an Islamic scholar of Saudi Arabia and founder of famous islamic website “www.islamqa.com". Tawseef studied (online) Islamic law under him and studied his books and fatwas deeply, later Al-Munajjid gave him permission to publish his fatwas on his website (Know About Al-Islaam From Its Authentic Sources) and to compile his fatwas in the form of booklets. |
