Introduction I am a keen long distance runner who has been running since March 2008. I was formerly a bit of a porker and have lost quite a bit of weight in my running exploits. Running is the purest of sports, it helps when I'm down, it keeps me healthy and really appeals to my desire for continuous self advancement... I ran my first marathon in April 2009 and although hitting the wall at 17 miles finished in a respectable time of 3:13. I nailed my sub three at Robin Hood in September 09 with 2:58:17. Since then, it's been an enjoyable ride of hard training and even harder races, but I've loved every minute of it. My two proudest moments are finishing 1st Yorkshireman at the 2014 Yorkshire Marathon in a time of 2:22:49 and being called up to represent England at The 2016 Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon in October 2016
