| Introduction | I am obsessed with the potential of the individual and collective wisdom. I am also engrossed in the challenge to become self-sufficient through good environmental practices in Matakana at Kingfisher Cottage. I have two work focuses - Growing Wiser and Kingfisher Cottage. In 2007 I had a large benign brain tumour removed and in the process learnt a great deal about the power of the brain from personal experience. I later became a curator and translator for others interested in brain improvement through lifestyle. I am a successful keynote speaker, a leadership specialist and in 2011 I started the movement for a wiser society in response to the negativity around our ageing population. I also started working with The New Zealand Planning Institute.. In 2024, after a post Covid break, I started a new a contract to develop emerging leaders with the New Zealand Planning Institute. In the meantime, I researched and published a book 'Sleep well to live well' in March 2020 and also promote sleep as a basis for mental and physical wellness. |
