| Introduction | Rev Kenneth Evurulobi was ordained a Catholic Priest on July 12, 1997 for the Catholic Diocese of Aba, Abia State, Nigeria after completing his seminary training and obtaining degrees in Philosophy and Theology from the Seat of Wisdom Major Seminary, Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria. He holds a Master of Theology (M.Th), a Licenciate (STL) and a Philosophy Degree in Systematic Theology (Ph.D) from the Catholic Institute of West Africa, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. He also did a Post Graduate Studies in International Affairs (PGDIA) at the University of Port Harcourt. Rev Evurulobi belongs to and is actively involved in the Liberation struggle – a struggle that is born out of the conviction that responsible citizenship and the practice of the authentic faith of the different religions are the key to peace and security in the world and the only way of actualizing our potentials as human beings made in the image of God. This has led him to define Freedom as “unhindered access to that which the human person is in the very depths of his Being – Imago Dei.” |
