| Introduction | Dystonia is a neurological movement disorder now affecting more than 500,000 people in the United States alone. There is no cause. There is no cure. There is limited research and funding due to the public's lack of education and awareness. That is why I am here, doing this. I was diagnosed with Cervical Dystonia 4 years ago and it is a daily battle. My goal is to reach out and shed some light on the suffering this disorder inflicts and share my personal journey. This is my first attempt to be an advocate for Dystonia, no matter how small the gesture. I refuse to give up hope for a cure...here we go. |
