| Introduction | Katherine Howell is the Blog Goddess for Split This Rock Poetry Festival; she lives and writes in Washington, D.C. Having taught English for a few years, Katherine is passionate about poetry, justice, education, and women’s rights. Her favorite book of poems is Margaret Atwood’s Morning in the Burned House, her favorite novel is The Sound and the Fury, and she recently began the Fables graphic novel series.
