| Introduction | Olivelle is a little shop in our town that specializes in quality oils, vinegars, salts and fine foods. Every visit would result in my gazes at the beautiful bottles & jars of exotic foods. I would buy gifts for friends & an occasional a bottle of basic olive oil for me. I hated to cook... My husband & I would eat out, besides our children are grown & married with children... so I didn't have to feed the family. Then... in August 2009, I noticed a cooking class schedule for Olivelle. It sounded like fun and then I could possible learn to use a few of those wonderful products. Fifteen classes later and still more on the schedule... I have found a new passion in cooking. I DO know what to do with many of those beautiful oils, vinegars & spices! I promised my husband & myself that I would try every recipe at least once, so I make at least 2 of the recipes each week! I am & we are eating much healthier & happier. Thanks to our daughter, daughter-in-law, husband and Brie of Olivelle for their encouragement in this learning process! |
