Introduction My parents emigrated from Louisiana to the Hunters Point district in San Francisco to work in the 50s. I was born and raised in the city by the Bay. I graduated with a masters degree from Cal State University, Sacramento. I have spent my entire adult life working as a political activist fighting for positive social, political, and economic change. I have engaged in this work throughout the U.S., several states in Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean. I have lectured/presented/engaged at University of California, Berkeley, UC Davis, UC Los Angeles, UC Santa Cruz. San Jose State University, San Francisco SU, Sacramento SU, San Diego SU, Stanford U, Portland State U, and many more campuses and community locations. Topics include: How Race and Class Work in America. How to Organize for Justice and Peace. Why Africa is Poor today. Building a Society where People are More Important than Money.
