| Introduction | A South Jersey writer and dreamer since birth, Victoria Marie Lees doesn’t do anything the easy way. She has camped and explored the outdoors with her husband and their five children for 20 years, sharing their many adventures and misadventures online at Camping with Five Kids. She also began a college journey while raising those five children, a journey which began at a community college and led to an Ivy League scholarship to attend the University of Pennsylvania. Victoria publishes young adult fiction and non-fiction in national magazines and has personal essays included in the anthology Easy to Love But Hard to Raise, about raising special needs children, and the Chicken Soup for the Soul edition Mom Knows Best. She’s won second place in a poetry contest and honorable mention in another. Victoria leads writing workshops at local libraries and nursing homes. |
