| Introduction | We are both retired math teachers who do not own white shirts or pencils in “pocket protectors,” or sit around all day working logic problems But here is a little about us “by the numbers:” We are TWO people who have ONE purpose in life: To bring glory and honor to our Savior Jesus Christ. We have been married FORTY SEVEN years! We have FIVE adult children (Liesl, Bryn, Malaika, Bryce, and Brianne), who have managed to produce NINE (soon to be ELEVEN) of the world’s most wonderful grandchildren (Mady, Macey, Minley, Tacy, Lauren, Metchor, Riley, Brayden, and Quinn. They all bring us an INFINITE amount of joy. Although we are both in our SEVENTIES, we are returning to Niger, in Africa, where we will live for THREE to FOUR months on the Galmi Hospital compound, doing whatever is needed to facilitate the ministry of the hospital, offering healing and hope to the wonderful people of Niger, who live in one of the most difficult places to thrive in the world. |
