| Introduction | Lolu John Arokodare (born in Nigeria)...from a young age was influenced by his Father’s passion/good taste for fashion He went to the prestigious Imperial College London, where he studied for a degree in Environmental Engineering & Business Management He did not attend fashion school, but worked for Giorgio Armani and Thomas Pink as fashion consultant. Presently he works for an Investment Bank in London as a Derivative Analyst. In 2003, with the financial backing of his family, he started his first fashion brand ‘lolu’ In 2008, Lolu as an entrepreneur and fashion designer discovered the need in the fashion Industry for a casual brand/line that would blend his African roots with the Western World , this led to the Polo1960 line Polo1960 line was launched in London in 2009 as a casual line |
