| Introduction | I am so blessed to be living in the country in beautiful Northwest Oregon. For over 35 years I have been gardening in spaces as small as an apartment patio, moving on to a 12 ft deep backyard and all the way up to the 8 acres I now call home. In 2003 I became certified as a Master Gardener through Oregon State University.I don't call myself an "organic" gardener (too much paperwork and government red tape to use that term anymore). Instead, I am an "environtmentally responsible" gardener. I love my life and all the excitement that living in the country brings. And now, 2012 brings something new - I am now a Certified Natural Grower (CNG) and have started a licensed wholesale nursery - Cherry Hill Farm Natural Food, specializing in veggie plant starts and companion flowers and herbs. |
