| Introduction | With more than seven years of classroom VAM experience and a Master of Education in Special Education and Teaching, I specialize in developing and implementing rigorous and engaging lessons that align with frameworks such as LEAP 2025/EOCT, ACT, Collegeboard, and the NIET/TAP model. My mission is to empower non-proficient students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in English, history, and life. In the Spring of 2023, I helped Transitional Ninth (T9) learners achieve a remarkable +37.1 progress index by targeting growth to achievement in Tech Writing/English I. I have received multiple recognitions for teaching excellence, including the Teacher of the Year award at Carencro High School and the District Nominee for High School Teacher of the Year. I also mentor and evaluate other teachers and support exceptional student services. I am passionate about meeting all learners where they are and fostering each student's growth to their highest level of achievement. |
