| Introduction | I was born in the Isle of Man in 1970. I left in 1990 to further my education. I didn't return to the Island until August 2007. A very lucky man, I am married to Suzanne, a Welsh beauty and have a gorgeous 4 year old daughter, Jessica who goes to Andreas School. In 1984 I started racewalking, coached and mentored by Graham Young two times winner of the Parish Walk (1971 and 1992!) and ex course record holder. In 1986, after two years of hard training with Graham, I became Northern Britian Racewalking Champion (Youth) in Morcambe. I competed in many local races and obtained a 10k pb of 52 minutes in 1987. After 20 years away, I am going to see how far I get in the 2008 Parish Walk. This is my Blog. |
