| Introduction | I really do love people. I get pleasure out of a solid, connecting interaction, whether with a stranger or not; I enjoy thinking about it long after we’ve terminated the love fest. If I think about it at night I really do go to sleep better. If I think about it during the day I really do smile. But I also love criticizing, calling into question, devils-advocating and otherwise challenging everybody and everything (myself especially and most often). The objective here is not to simply disagree but to build towards understanding. My ultimate goal is to combine my love of people with a greater understanding. Whatever the hell that means, you can trust it is a benevolent goal. And if you read anything I write here, please imagine that in a real conversation on these subjects, I would dilute the inherent seriosity with funny jokes making fun of myself talking about these serious subjects. |
