| Introduction | I began race-walking marathons 4 1/2yrs ago. My goal this year, is to raise money & race in the 1/2 marathon for the Victory Junction Camp on December 13, 2009. John The Penguin Bingham supports this event and has enlightened me about the camp, their mission and accomplishments. The Victory Junction is a year-round camping environment for children, ages 6 to 16, with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses. Founded by Kyle and Pattie Petty in honor of their son Adam, Victory Junction located in Randleman, N.C. offers programs for 24 disease groups and maintains strong relationships with 26 partner hospitals. Victory Junctions mission is to provide life changing camping experiences that are exciting, fun and empowering, in a safe and medically sound environment. As a not-for-profit organization, the camp operates solely through the support of generous donors to provide this experience at no charge to children and their families. The Petty family has done an amazing job for the kids & their families. I am asking for your help. My fundraising goal is $1450.
