| Introduction | I'm a 29 year old mum of one. I survived Necrotising Fasciitis following childbirth but was ill and very immobile for 3 months. After recovering I was able to restart breastfeeding and my research and experience inspired me to train as a volunteer for Breastfeeding Support at both a local support group and in the Maternity Hospital. I treasure every moment I have with my son and in a way being so ill has made me grasp that with both hands. I quit my job and haven't looked back. |
