Introduction	I have had a varied work career. Started off working as an Engineer (Marine) but moved in to Education at an early stage. I taught Technical Subjects in a Secondary school. I always had an interest in computers which eventually took me down a different career path. I lectured the subject of Computer Education at the Northern College of Education and worked for Learning and Teaching Scotland as its Chief Technology Adviser working in particular on the Scottish Schools Digital Network which included Glow. In January 2008 I started a new job with Cisco Systems Ltd in its Public Sector Emerging Markets Division.
Interests	Music, ICT supporting Education in Scottish Schools
Favorite movies	Never really thought very hard about this - I guess this is something that varies from time to time!
Favorite music	I like Country and Gospel music. I very much enjoy listening to groups which sing in harmony.
Favorite books	I am not much of a reader but I do enjoy reading to solve a problem, sadly this means most of my reading is of a technical nature ;-)
