Favorite Movies I always find lists hard. But I'd include Brief Encounter, Now Voyager, The Company of Wolves, Local Hero, Maurice (and other Merchant Ivory films), and Babette's Feast.
Favorite Music Polyphonic choral works (such as Gregorio Allegri, William Mundy, Thomas Tallis, Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina), Samuel Barber, most operas by Puccini, and increasingly Baroque music. Oh, and quite a lot of 80s/early 90s pop.
Favorite Books On the Black Hill by Bruce Chatwin, the original books of the 'Tales of the City' series by Armistead Maupin, and anything by Bill Bryson, Patrick Gale, and Barbara Pym. I loved "The Shipping News" by Annie Proulx. I was recently impressed by 'The Charioteer' by Mary Renault - an evocative rendition of wartime Bristol - and I found Hilary Mantel's novels on Cromwell addictive.
