| Introduction | I am a retired school librarian, but I still work part time at my local public library. I have always loved food and I grew up watching my Mom make magic in the kitchen. I have always tried to recreate my favorite foods and dishes that I have in restaurants. I enjoy making my own dressings and sauces and I am creative with my coffee drinks. I have been cooking since I was in 4-H in fourth grade so that gives me almost 45+ years of experience in the kitchen. I also worked with catering in college and learned some great skills working at a local restaurant who provided catering for a country club. Most of my cooking experience I owe to my mother, Brenda who is an excellent cook. She is self taught because she married right out of high school and did not know much about cooking.
