| Introduction | Right after graduating from the school in 2007, I enrolled in Ilia State University, Department of Business and Law, where I spent 4 years doing my BA studies majoring in Business. During my BA studies, the University offered opportunities to students to select one more European language except English. I chose Polish. I should confess that at the begging, I did not take it seriously, it was more like fun. Moreover, pronunciation of Polish language seemed very difficult to me. At the end of the semester all students, who studied polish had to pass language examination. Seven students in our group scored highly in the exam and the BUWIWM decided to offer scholarships to them to study at the University of Silesia in Katowice. I was among those lucky seven students. Since then, I’m here in Poland. During this time, I managed to finish my study at the University of Silesia and defended MA dissertation in September, 2013. I commenced my second MA study in Media Marketing and Tourism at the University of Economics in Katowice, Faculty of Management. 2015 was another successful year in my life – I got an offer to study at PHD program – one of my dreams come true. |
