Introduction	"It's good to have and end to journey toward, but it's the journey that matters in the end." My husband and I live on about one-third of an acre with our daughter and dog right on the edge of the Chattanooga city limits. We do our best to grow what we can in our backyard, and be as self sufficent as we can. We are both new at this way of life, and have been learning and building our skills as we go (mostly through trial and error). It's not much, but we love what we have, and are doing our best to create our own little urban homestead.
