| Introduction | I attended the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN and graduated with a Nursing degree in 2006. I previously worked in Waconia, MN which is approx. 30 minutes west of the cities on a Med/Surg/Oncology floor and absolutely loved it. I recently moved to Wisconsin in the summer of 2009 and built a home with my boyfriend in Lake Hallie. I accepted a job at Sacred Heart Hospital on a cardiology floor. I love to spend time my family and friends. I am so excited to have this opportunity to work with the homeless in Washington DC. This will be a great chance to understand the struggles they endure daily but also the strength that they hold. I feel so privelaged to have this opportunity to interact with each person that I will meet in Washington DC through this experience. |
