Introduction	I am a stay at mom of two beautiful girls ages 3 years and 6 months. When my oldest was 2 I read numerous studies regarding the cons of food dye. This has led my husband and I on a journey of trying desperately to eliminate these from her diet. Although I can honestly say that I have not necessarily seen a difference in her behavior like the studies have shown, we have most definitely seen a difference on what we as parents find exceptable to feed her. It has been a challenge to not feel like we're depriving her of all the childhood "goodies" so I am constantly looking for substitutes. Here, I hope to share some of the alternatives we have found. Whether that be store bought or home made. This is my family's journey into a dye-free world...
