| Introduction | I was born and raised in Independence, Missouri, where reading, writing, music, and my cats were my favorite things. I attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music. What a wild time--loaded classes and three years with the Conservatory Chorale, where I was also seamstress. Several years after that, Margaret Weis asked me to help her and Tracy Hickman with a reader's theater intended to market Dragonlance books. Their Traveling Road Show brought me a bit of fame for portraying kender Tasselhoff Burrfoot. (I was typecast: I have long hair!) I've written short stories as well as non-fiction, recipes, and music. Bruce Heard and I now live and write together, along with the furry help of two black cats. We're working on both stories and novels. |
