About me

Gender Female
Introduction Was born and raised in Brazil, I had a career as a TV reporter. When I moved to the US in 2002, I decided to approach a health-related career. I initially worked as a medical interpreter for the major hospitals in the greater Boston area. A few years later, moved to NC and gained skills and experience as a trained pedorthist and also as office manager for a nutritional practice. Always passionate about fitness, after I had my daughter, I became an avid marathoner since 2006—a new lifestyle begun in a quest to lose weight gained during pregnancy. I have run 14 marathons, one 50 mile race, and many shorter events. Eager to learn more about fat burning programs—and looking to perform better—I became a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). My passion for effective fat loss and functional techniques, lead me to get also certified as an Indoor Metabolic Effect Group Instructor, TRX R4 instructor (teaching TRX Training Camps). I am now working on my certification as a Metabolic Effect Personal Trainer, and improving my skilss as a Fat Loss Coach.
