| Introduction | I am a 30 year old professional living in Chicago with my husband, J, and our 2 dogs. I thought, due to the fact that this seems to be the case for most other people, that getting pregnant would be easy. In fact, I spent copious amounts of time and energy avoiding said condition in my twenties. I found, however, that getting knocked up is quite challenging. Sex, apparently, does not carry any risk of conception. Good to know. After a few bouts of Clomid and 4 failed IUIs, J and I are now on to the exciting world of IVF. It is with great excitement and crippling anxiety that I embark on this journey. And yet, here I am. So please, join me... |
