| Introduction | Red Dog Designs is a small home-based craft and fine-art business tended by me, Holly, in the wee hours between sleeping and my day job. My painting style is a free form mix between impressionistic and realistic. I enjoy painting subjects from the natural world both in the field and in the studio. I gain inspiration from the many beautiful places I have worked and the experimenting with texture through the integration of paper and acrylic paints on canvas. I am thankful to be able to express my creative side and share some of that vision with my friends and family. I am thankful not only because art has greatly enriched my life, but also because recently diagnosed with MS, I have had to slow down a bit and find activities that are enriching but that don’t require a large amount of physical assertion. Returning to my love for painting and fiber arts has made the challenges of chronic illness easier to bear. |
