| Introduction | I am a student worker/intern at Xavier University's Office of Marketing and Printing Services, thus this blog. It's not that I am not busy or that i'm blowing off other tasks to *occasionally* work on this blog, but sometimes the days get slow, so why not post my musings and streams of consciousness on a website as a "creative" (take that as you will) outlet? I will say now and again that some of what I write about is completely fictional and some of what I write is reminiscent of my seventh-grade diary. I may or may not discriminate between the two. Otherwise, I am a student, a daughter, an aunt, a tenant, a reader, a really-lousy-poetry-writer, a runner, a facebooker, a laugher, a crier, an email forward-er, a horoscope conspirator, a carnivore, and a generally curious--although sometimes particular--person. |

| Favorite Music | the kind with notes. i like ska in the summer, classical music late at night, classic rock with my parents, metal with my siblings, hip-hop/rap and/or pop with my friends, thoughtful acoustics when by myself, and a combination of the above while working. but actual bands, you want? okay: the beatles, reel big fish, no doubt, tegan and sara, guster, lupe fiasco, n.e.r.d., bon jovi, def leppard, pixies, bob dylan, cake, nine inch nails, john mayer, jimmy eat world, alison kraus and union station, indigo girls, meg and dia, the flaming lips, animal collective, india.arie, belle and sebastian, dashboard confessional, nirvana, red hot chili peppers. |
