| Introduction | Rich & I lived a totally normally married life for almost 4 years. Except we didn't have a TV. Actually, we weren't really "normal" by several other standards, but in 2010 we went right off the deep end and accepted an invitation to move to New Zealand as unpaid missionaries. With two children. And we've doubled that since we've been here, just for the heck of it. We do youth ministry. We live at the parish. It's wild. Some days it's fabulous, some days it's the pits and often it's a little of both. Kind of like real life. The Lord's providence & grace have borne awesome fruit during our time here both in our own lives & in those to whom we minister. At first we were equal partners in the ministry and then we realized that our life worked way better with Rich flying solo and Kelly more behind the scenes of the ministry - and full-time mother to Maria Christine (May 2007), Bernadette Moira (July 2009), Joseph Pio (March 2011), & babyseal (coming Nov. 2012). Thanks for checking out the blog and for understanding that I write either in the wee hours or with the wee people running amok. |
