Introduction	I'm Renee, a Beauty Therapist who grew up in a small country town. I now live in the big city and I love it. I have a passion for DO IT YOURSELF, restore it, recycle it, or just make it yourself! I either can never quite find what I’m looking for in the shops, and if I do it always costs a fortune. So, I try to make whatever I can at home. When we were kids we didn’t go to “day-care” we went to Nana & Pa’s house, a 1950’s household where everything was quality, it could always be fixed and pretty much everything was made from scratch. My Pa is my inspiration for my furniture, whether it’s something I restore, something I paint or something I make, he would always take the time to show us how to do it properly. My Nana is my gardening/food inspiration. There isn’t a day that I don’t remember her being in the garden, or cooking up a storm; even if it was just the evening meal. Everything my Nana did, she did with love.
