| Introduction | Nele Van de Velde (°1986) is an illustrator with a special interest in graphic arts. In december 2011 she won a honorable mention in the contest 'Price Jacques Gorus 2011'(3th edition). Since then, she gets her first big orders for professional clients. Her illustrations are very personal and variable, with examples of mixed media, collage and printing techniques. Often an 'eclectic' style. Though she has er own style, il all depends on the mood and kind of occasion. She also makes all kind of portraits, cards, logo's, and much more beautiful stuff. Besides that, she also graduated as a teacher in arts. On a constant basis she teaches young children the basics. One of her biggest thrills is to boot her own graphic workshops, one day. She's constantly looking for new challenges on both fronts. An extra job in the field of education, a workshop or something in the illustration (or writing) area. Her specialties are illustration, woodcut, etching, collage, drawing, sketching, writing. |
