| Introduction | I am a passionate art lover. Many years ago as a volunteer at the Art Institute of Chicago, I was captivated by the paintings of Camille Pissarro. Since then, I have visited practically all the sites he painted—Rouen, Dieppe, Le Havre, Montfoucault, Eragny, St. Thomas (V.I.) and Belgium. I was a docent at the Terra Museum of American Art (which sadly no longer exists). Later in Philadelphia, I was a guide at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. I give slide lectures for museums, local art centers, and community groups. I recently finished writing my book PISSARRO'S PLACES. I enjoy living and pursuing my art history explorations in Paris. |
